Friday nights are the new Sunday nights, am I right? Friday nights are all about celebrating the end of a long week of work, school, homework, parties, traineeship, exercise, blogging, shopping, and socializing. I like to celebrate by throwing on my pajamas and putting on The Vow and crying my head off.
On the rare occasion that I can muster up the energy to make it out on a Friday night (it's usually when an out-of-towner returns to SF), I try and wear an outfit that feels like sweatpants and slippers but says party time. I throw on my leather pants (with the elastic waist band), long, loose top, ankle booties (with a wedge), slap on some lipstick and it's go time.
These pants should really be called my rally pants. They are like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and have magical powers, except their power is they make me get out of the house and socialize. These leather pants have been to concerts, the Tonga Room, birthday parties, and business meetings. They are extremely versatile and can be dressed up with pumps or can be worn with some sneakers for a downtown LA look.
Last night I had the opportunity to attend the Macy's Fall Fashion Fest and see their runway show. It was definitely a night to pull out the leather pants and rally. Check out my photos on Instagram here . I absolutely loved spending some time at Macy's-- their downtown location has such a great selection. I'm considering getting a Macy's card to save even more on their great items. In the show, I saw this dress and fell in love. One of my go-to brands is Kensie. It's cute, affordable, and I love that most of their pieces are structured.
So what's it going to be tonight? Sweats or leather pants?
Some perfect pieces from Kensie!
