PERFECT PROFESSION.

Happy Friday! I hope everyone is staying warm and dry! Today is the last day of my first semester as a school counselor. It has been an incredible four months and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I have had to work with great families, learn more about myself, and explore what lies ahead.

Recently, I have been thinking a lot of about careers and what I hope for my future. We spend so much time at our work, that it really is our lives. I've been grateful to meet some really wonderful people while working on Perfect 10 SF. Most of them are women, but what everyone has in common is that they are passionate about what they are doing. Here are just a handful of people in my life who are fusing their passion and profession:

Jordan of Packed Party // Jillian of Sweet and Spark // Christy of LOHO Bride // J'Amy Tarr of J'Amy Tarr Designs // Rebecca Minkoff // Nicole of Kindred Table

I originally started my masters program in Counseling Psychology because I wanted to work in school administration. Wow, how drastically my life has changed in the last couple of months! And I cannot say how grateful, excited, optimistic, and energized I am for 2015.

Here are some other professions I have considered / wish I had tried / might try in the future:

Graphic Designer // Teacher // Travel Agent // Mail Delivery Woman // Olympic Gymnast // Soundtrack Designer for Film //

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Stay tuned next week for more pregnancy updates!

Whatever your profession, sometimes you just gotta pay the bills! Here are 10 pieces I am crushing on for the new year!
