Happy Monday! We had an absolutely wonderful weekend celebrating the holidays, exploring the city, brunching, exercising, and organizing our new apartment. It was a non-stop weekend (yet, I still found time to watch Bring It On! Has anyone realized that I have the worst taste in movies. Actually, I don't. I don't really like these movies, I just put them on when I am cleaning or working so that I can have something on in the background.).
On Friday night, we headed over to Bar Bocce in Sausalito for a holiday party. I've been invited to hang out there several times before for friends' birthdays or to just enjoy some sun, but I always had plans and couldn't make it. I was happy to finally check it out. I highly recommend it! It was a gorgeous night and then it started pouring and then it cleared up and then it poured again. Luckily we were outside by the fire pit under a covering. I met lots of great people and laughed a lot.
Saturday morning we went with my sister Caitlin and her two daughters to Girls on the Run 5K in Golden Gate Park. It was so funny! I bumped into my pals from Ginger Tree Photography. They were the photographers at the Perfect 10 SF Launch Party in June at My Roommate's Closet (great to think about the awesome press I received for that event. Read about it here!). After that we walked around Noe Valley and did some window shopping. Since the sun was out I threw on a skirt and my favorite Kate Spade sneakers. Sunday we had brunch with Jesse's parents at Serpentine- read about that here.
Oh, and I guess the other exciting thing going on in my life is that JESSE AND I ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!! Read more about that here!!
