I am currently in my third year in the Counseling Psychology program and am working towards a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. The program entails three years of classes and during the third year each student completes a traineeship. In August, I will start my traineeship at an elementary school in San Francisco as a school counselor. This summer I am excited to begin my work as a Graduate Merit Scholar with the USF Center for Child and Family Development Center.
I am excited to start my traineeship and put all of the information and skills I have learned into practice. I know it will be a year full of challenges and growth! In the future, I hope to organize networking and educational events for women in their twenties, parenting workshops, and have a private practice.
I am grateful to have the experience of attending USF. The professors are wonderful, the campus is gorgeous, and the people in my cohort are so special to me. I feel a special connection to USF because that is where my parents attended college! I grew up on the campus cheering at the USF games, attending Dons volleyball camps, taking my first swimming lessons, and we even played our high school basketball northern California playoff basketball game in the War Memorial Gym.
As I embark on my third and final year at USF, I am even more appreciative that I have had the opportunity to attend the university of the BEST CITY EVER! Check out these photos of the Lone Mountain campus and the perfect 10 pairs inspired by the green and gold Dons' colors! #usf #GOdons!
Kate Spade has made me fall in love with the green and yellow color combination with their lemon print!
