Have you heard of the newest app and site that I'm in love with? Keep?! It's like Nordstrom meets Pinterest meets Amazon Prime. It is so easy to search for products, "keep" them in your profile, and purchase them, all with a few clicks and without having to leave the site! It's about time!
There are a lot of apps who are trying to tackle the intersection between fashion and tech and I honestly feel like Keep is the one who is doing it well. I've been fascinated with Keep from the beginning, not only because of the incredible press they've received, but because one of my faves Dria is at the helm as the Style and Communications Director. The two of us email back and forth almost daily about San Francisco (she's from here), Perfect 10 SF, blogging, fashion week, and rosé. Luckily, Dria agreed to answer a few questions for Perfect 10 SF so we could get a behind the scenes look into her amazing life! Talk about a perfect person! <3
Name: Dria Murphy
Website: Keep.com also Keep App.
Describe your personal style. A combo of classic and downtown. I love mixing high street with luxury. I like to wear bold colors in a sophisticated way. I can't get enough of my denim (that's the California in me), but I always pair it with heels (there's New York).
What do you like to do for fun? So by day I am the style and communications director at fashion tech startup Keep. I am out of the office quite a bit meeting with editors and influencers in the fashion, beauty and home-decor world talking all things Keep! And by night I am usually out! Whether its dinner with friends or drinks with press, there aren’t many nights I spend at home. New York City really never sleeps—between store openings, launch parties and fashion events, it is hard to stay in, let alone fit in Equinox.
What’s your ideal day in San Francisco? New York? My idea day in San Francisco is hanging with my fam because I don't get to see them that much! But in New York my ideal day consists of eating, shopping and gym time. I love trying new restaurants for brunch or dinner so that is a must. I include gym time because having time to work out is more of a luxury these days. And shopping, whether that be at boutiques in Soho or on my couch on Keep, I can never shop enough!
Who is your favorite designer right now? My favorite designer right now is Misha NoNoo. She is a womenswear designer based in New York City. I love the way she used contemporary art in her designs. I am obsessed with all the organza inserts in the simple silhouettes. The print in look 20 of her spring 15 collection is my absolute favorite. Look 20 / Some favorites you can shop on Keep! And this one, too!
Share one surprising thing about yourself. I could live off sour gummies...haha!
