Coco Chanel said, "a woman with good shoes is never ugly."
Well imagine how I felt, when shoe shopping with my mother and three sisters and I could NEVER find good shoes. With sizes 7.5, 8, and 8.5, respectively, my sisters could find perfect pairs without any trouble. It didn't seem fair to me, the double-digit size 10, who couldn't find a pair that didn't make my feet look like Shaq.
So I began my search for PERFECT 10 shoes! I love looking at beautiful shoes and sharing my passion with readers. Since launching Perfect 10 SF, I have grown and write about a lot more topics.
Perfect 10 SF is what I like to call, "a lifestyle blog for people who don't read blogs!" I am delighted to share a little bit about myself, my experience as a San Francisco native, the business of blogging, pregnancy updates, failed DIY attempts, maternity style, comical events in my life, psychology, and being a working mom. From my experience with my blog I have been able to launch Curran Creative, a San Francisco-based Boutique Marketing Agency!
I launched my shoe blog Perfect 10 SF in April of 2014. I was working full-time at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton as the Student Activities Director (planning Assemblies, Dances, Pep Rallies) and attending the University of San Francisco Counseling Psychology Masters program, when I had some free time due to spring break.
Accustomed to being busy 24/7, I didn't have any plans over spring break and thought I should giving blogging a try. Serendipitously, I had heard about the easy to use website builder Squarespace. I signed up for a free Squarespace account and wrote my first post. I wrote all day and stayed up until 3am that morning writing my first dozen posts-- I couldn't stop. Maybe it was the full-moon or maybe it was the thrill of having a creative outlet-- Perfect 10 SF was born and I haven't looked back since.
While I first started writing about designer shoes and my huge size 10 shoe, the blog has grown a lot. I try to just write about what interests me and what inspires me: fashion, relationships, San Francisco, literature, art, comedy, the business of blogging, wonderful people, places, life with my husband Jesse, his great work as CTO at BuildingConnected, my experiences with my first pregnancy and now, my darling daughter Lillian July!
I went to Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in Pacific Heights, an all-girls school and am the middle of five children so, yeah, you can say that I had experiences that allowed me to grow confident, believe in myself and get comfortable putting myself out there. I am a true extrovert! I love being around my friends, meeting new people, and have no fear of public speaking (did I just jinx myself?), I actually kind of enjoy it. I love it when people come up to me and say hello!
Since launching, I've had some amazing experiences and am grateful to everyone I've met and worked with.I like to work with companies whose products I believe in. I also love supporting female entrepreneurs and local San Francisco companies- even better if you're both of those!

If you are interested in learning more about how to grow your blog PLEASE email me and read my new series: The Business of Blogging! I am happy to chat and answer any of the questions you may have.
My style is an extension of my personality- go with the flow, always ready for a good laugh, and inclusive of others. Oh, and probably a little bit over the top!
Thanks for taking the time to read Perfect 10 SF!
Please note: Perfect 10 SF occasionally receives vendor/brand sponsorships for mentioning their products and services. All opinions are my own (I have a lot of opinions). Since I'm also a very positive person, I don't write negative things ever, so while it may seem like I am just pumping up companies/ products that have sponsored me, what it really is is that I only work with companies I really connect with and believe in. I am grateful for the sponsors that keep shoes on my Perfect 10 feet!
